Grape varieties: Kotsifali & Mandilari
Region: Agios Vasilios, Houdetsi, Kalloni.
Terroir: Altitude of over 400 meters, hillside vineyards, argil clay of high drainage, Royat pruning, yields of 45-65hl/ha. Vineyards aged 15 years, that give rich and full-bodied wines.
Oenology: Typical red winemaking at controlled low extraction temperature of long duration. Maturation for 12 months in new French and American barriques of 225lt and 300lt capacity.
Name: Its name is inspired by the spring aromas (“myra”=aromas) of the freshly bloomed vines (“ambelos”=vine).
Personality: Shiny ruby colour. The discreet aromas of spices and dry fruits, typical of the Kotsifali variety, harmonically mingle with the aromas of tobacco and vanilla from the oak barriques. Balanced and rounded mouth with long-lasting aftertaste.
