Grape Variety: Merlot
Region: Location Skalani, Kounavi, Heraklion.
Terroir: Selected non-irrigated hillside vineyards of royat pruning. Argillo-calcareous soil. Mild winters, dry summers.
Oenology: Extraction period of 8-10 days. Alcoholic fermentation in automated stainless steel tanks at 18°-22°C, after inoculation with selected yeasts for the varietal aromas of the Merlot to unfold.
Personality: Shiny ruby color. Intense varietal aromas with notes of red fruits like plum and gooseberry. Rich mouth with elegant round tannins and pleasant long-lasting aftertaste.
