Protected Geographical Indication Heraklion
Grape Varieties: Vilana, Vidiano
Region: Houdetsi and Alagni, Heraklion
Terroir: Altitude over 450 meters, argillo-calcareous soil, royat and cup-shaped pruning. Mild winters and dry summers.
Oenology: Cold maceration for 3-4 hours at 10oC followed by alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures of 15ο-18οC, with the addition of selected yeasts.
Personality: Bright green-yellowish colour. Complex aromas expressing the characteristics of both varieties, with notes of peach and citrus fruits. Well-structured with pleasant taste and crisp acidity.
