Traditional Appellation of Origin
Grape varieties: Vilana, Thrapsathiri.
Region: Heraklion, Crete.
Terroir: Hillside vineyards of 350 meters altitude with north summer breezes.
Oenology: The typical vinification of Retsina employs the use of pneumatic presses and the addition of non-processed resin in stainless steel tanks. The fermentation takes place at 16o-20 oC.
Personality: Shining yellow-green colour, delicate aromas of pine and white fruits. Well balanced taste, pleasant with a fruity finish.
